User Guide

Sometimes, navigating a blog can be a little confusing.  Unless you're a faithful follower, and read the posts as they are posted, it can be tricky to find blog posts that may be of interest.  If you're like me, I rarely read blogs daily.  Instead, I search a topic and find relevant posts that interest me on that topic.

When you write a blog that has an ever increasing amount of topics, it can be overwhelming or maybe even pointless to try and find a specific topic of interest to read.

So, the point of this page is to help those of you that are here for a specific topic, and to help you navigate around so you don't miss anything that you may find useful or interesting to read.

I will update this page as new stuff is added, to make it as easy as possible for you to read and enjoy the topics you want to read about - which is hopefully all of it.

1.  Labels
I will try my best to attach labels to all of the blog posts, so that you can search based on a specific topic.  I will try my best to not attach a gazillion labels to each post, so that it streamlines the search process.  There's nothing worse than trying to search for something like "marriage" and finding that every single blog post has been labeled with "marriage" because at some point the husband has been mentioned, even though the post has nothing to do with being married.  I'll try and keep the labels direct to the topic being written about.

2.  Themed Posts
These are one of my favorite things to write.  My first theme is "Advice You Didn't Ask For" or aka AUDAF, once it's been going a while.  Basically this means that about once a week (probably on a specific day), I'll write a post with that main theme, but a different subject.  As the blog gets into the swing of things, there will be more themed posts.

3.  Follow the Blog
If you start to like what I'm writing, and want to be able to connect quickly, then please follow my blog.  It's a win-win for both of us.  You follow and get notified when I write a new post, my follower count goes up, which apparently is a good thing.  I hear YouTubers get paid money with the more subscribers and followers they have.  Don't think it works the same for bloggers (dang it), but it still makes me feel better to know that someone is getting something out of my writing.

3.  Follow by Email
If you're not sure you can commit to visiting daily, but don't want to miss new posts, then the Follow by Email option is available.  You'll receive an email when I post, and then you can decide if you want to read it or not.  Simple.

OK, think that's it for now... now, go read the blog.
